Homemade Thai Chili Dip

In every street food place in Asia you´ll find a homemade spicy chili dip to round the flavor of your meal. Sometimes they are spicy and sweet or have a strong fish sauce flavor. Or they are just spicy as hell. Our own dip is a perfect combination of all the different tastes in Asia. It is sweet, spicy and rounded with fish sauce, pepper and salt. Perfect to chips or many different kinds of Asian dishes.

 
 

4 SMALL JAR
gluten free lactose free

Ingredients
20 red thai chilies, remove cores
2 cm piece of fresh ginger, chopped
1 big red onion, chopped
2 tbs palm sugar
½ tsp shrimp paste
2 tbs fish sauce
2 tbs peanut oil
salt
pepper

Roast chilis, ginger, onions and shrimp paste in peanut oil.
Add palm sugar and stir until it´s liquid.
Cool down the mixture.
Transfer to a mixer. Add fish sauce and mix well.
Season with salt and pepper.
Store in a jar.
It keeps fresh in the fridge for about 8-10 weeks
