The Ultimate Crispy Tofu Recipe

Many non-vegetarians think that tofu is an untasty and boring thing and it doesn´t belong into a good meal. But we don´t think so. You can make many great meals out of tofu and we use it a lot in our recipes. With our ultmate tofu recipe we want to convince all tofu sceptics of the contrary. It tastes delicious next to soups, noodles and currys. This tofu tastes also delicious when you serve it with a green salads. In the end it´s up to you. But we promise you that this crispy tofu is a delight that will even surprise non-vegetarians.

 
 

4 SERVINGS

Ingredients
1 block tofu
1 tsp curry powder
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbs black cumin seeds
1 tbs palm sugar
1 tbs peanut oil

In the beginning use a fork to make many small holes in the tofu cube. Now dice the cube and transfer to a small bowl.

Mix tofu with all remaining ingredients except the peanut oil and place it in the fridge for at least one hour. Mix tofu dice every 15 minutes to let them soak the marinade.

Heat peanut oil in a small pan and stir fry tofu dice until they are golden brown and crispy.

Serve with your favorite dish. We love to have it with one of our delicious soups or currys. Our crispy tofu is also a perfect topping for many salads.
