Early this morning, right after I had a delicious vegetarian soup I started my mountain bike trip to the Xuân Hương reservoir. On the map it looked like it is not far away from the city center. But it is when you are going there by bike. So I had to spent a hard day on the back of my bike. Greetings from my bad fitness.

In Da Lat you have the choice between many tour agencies that organize outdoor group tours for backpackers. Canyoning, mountain bike tours or the well known Easy Ride Tours can be booked. I decided to go on my own. And that wasn´t a bad decision.

The hard work brought me to the Xuân Hương reservoir and to the Thien Vuong pagoda. The area of the pagoda lays on top of the reservoir with a great view. The pagoda is surrounded by very nice gardens and so I spent a long time there.

More south west are the Elephant Falls. Here you can see many groups doing canyoning. But the falls are absolutely worth a visit when you are in Da Lat.

On the early afternoon I went back to my hostel. It was a two hours up and down ride and when I came back to my hostel I was tired as hell. After dinner I felt to bed. Tomorrow I just go out to have some street food on my last day in Da Lat.
