Ginger Lemon Honey Tea

1 CUP
gluten free lactose free

Ingredients
2,5 cm piece fresh ginger, grated
Juice of ½ lemon
1 tsp honey
Boiled water

Grated ginger combined with lemon juice and honey is the medicine when you feel like getting a cold. But you also can drink this super healthy tea as prevention like we did when we´ve been hiking in the Annapurna mountains of Nepal without getting sick. This tea is pure power for your immune system.

Grate or mince the fresh ginger. No need to peel it first, but if you really want to peel it, try using a spoon to gently scrape away that outer layer.
Put the ginger, lemon, and honey in a cup or jar. Fill the cup with just-boiled water. Cover and let steep for 15 minutes.
You have to find out how big your tea cup should be. If you like a strong ginger taste you should choose a smaller cup.
