Sweet Potato Puree

This is one of my new creations. It´s a light and very tasty sweet potato puree. I use creamy coconut milk to give this puree an asian touch.

Time to prepare: 15 minutes

Time to cook: 20 minutes

Servings: 4


  • 2 big sweet potatoes
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 2 gloves garlic
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 2 pn cumin
  • 2 pn strong curry powder
  • 2 pn cinnamon
  • salt


  • Boil salted water in a bowl
  • Dice the sweet potatoes
  • Simmer the dice sweet potatoes on mid heat in salted water for 15 minutes
  • Remove water
  • Smash the potatoes and add coconut milk
  • Chop the garlic
  • Add cumin, cinnamon, chopped garlic and the curry powder
  • Round up the flavor with soy sauce

Serve with grilled zucchini and other stuff from the grill – like Spicy Thai Sausages
